This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains our policies regarding subscription cancellations, refunds, and related matters for GSTFlow services operated by Litiga Tax Counsel at gstflow.cloud.
By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

3. General Refund Policy
3.1 No-Refund Policy
Subscriptions and add-on packs are non-refundable. This includes:
- Monthly subscription fees (Starter, Growth, Professional, Enterprise)
- Add-on packs (750 AED for 10 additional VAT returns)
- Upgrade fees when switching to a higher-tier plan
3.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error
- Service Unavailability: Extended outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours (pro-rata credit only)
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same period
3.3 Refund Request Process
To request a refund under exceptional circumstances:

- Include:
- Account email address
- Invoice number or transaction ID
- Detailed reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation (screenshots, receipts)
Refund requests will be reviewed within 5-7 business days. Decisions are final.
3.4 Refund Processing Timeline
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed through the original payment method
- Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on the payment processor
- Bank processing may add additional time
4. Free Trial Policy
4.1 Trial Period
- All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial
- No credit card required to start trial
- Full access to Starter plan features during trial
- Trials are available once per organization (based on Tax Registration Number)
4.2 Trial Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time during the trial period
- No charges apply if you cancel before trial expiration
- After cancellation, account downgrades to view-only mode (no data loss)
- Re-activation requires subscribing to a paid plan
4.3 Post-Trial Charges
- If you do not subscribe after trial expiration, no charges apply
- Your account automatically downgrades to view-only mode
- You may subscribe at any time to regain full access
5. Subscription Cancellation Policy
5.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time via:
- Account Settings: Dashboard → Billing → Cancel Subscription

- Email Request: Send cancellation request to support@gstflow.cloud
5.2 Effective Date
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- You retain full access until the paid period expires
- No pro-rata refunds for partial months
5.3 Example
If you subscribe on January 5 and cancel on January 20:
- Your subscription remains active until February 4
- You are charged for January 5 - February 4 (no refund)
- Access is revoked on February 5
- Your account downgrades to view-only mode
5.4 Re-Activation
- You may re-subscribe at any time after cancellation
- Previous data is retained and accessible upon re-subscription
- Re-activation follows standard billing (no pro-rata discounts)
6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
6.1 Upgrades
When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan (e.g., Starter → Growth):
- Immediate Effect: New features and quotas apply immediately
- Pro-Rata Billing: You are charged the difference for the remaining period
- Example: If you upgrade on Day 15 of a 30-day cycle, you pay 50% of the tier difference
- Next Billing Cycle: Full price of new tier applies
6.2 Downgrades
When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan (e.g., Professional → Growth):
- Effective Date: Downgrade takes effect at the end of current billing cycle
- No Refunds: No credits or refunds for the price difference
- Data Retention: All data is retained (no data loss)
- Feature Restrictions: Access to higher-tier features is removed after downgrade
6.3 Add-On Packs
- Add-on packs (750 AED for 10 returns) are non-refundable
- Credits apply only to the current month (no rollover)
- Unused credits expire at month-end
7. Account Termination by Litiga Tax Counsel
7.1 Grounds for Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately for:
- Violation of Terms and Conditions
- Fraudulent activity or chargebacks
- Non-payment for 30+ days
- Abuse of platform or staff
- Illegal activity (tax fraud, data theft)
7.2 No Refunds Upon Termination
If we terminate your account for violations, no refunds are issued for unused time or credits.
7.3 Data Access
Upon termination:
- You have 30 days to export your data
- After 30 days, we retain data for 5 years (UAE VAT law) but you lose access
- Data export requests after 30 days may incur a fee
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
8.1 Chargeback Policy
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- We will provide evidence of service delivery to your payment provider
- If the chargeback is ruled in our favor, your account remains suspended until dispute is resolved
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
8.2 Dispute Resolution
Before initiating a chargeback, contact us via WhatsApp at 0300 8231043 or email support@gstflow.cloud. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly through communication.
9. Pricing Changes
9.1 Notice Period
- We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice
- Price changes do not apply to current subscribers until their next renewal date
- We will notify you via email and in-app notification
9.2 Grandfathering
- If you are on a grandfathered pricing plan, canceling your subscription forfeits grandfathered pricing
- Re-subscribing applies current market pricing
10. Payment Processors
10.1 Dual Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through Lemon Squeezy and/or PayFast depending on customer location and selected payment method:
- Lemon Squeezy: For international customers (AED pricing)
- PayFast: For Pakistan-based customers (PKR pricing)
10.2 Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods vary by processor:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- Other methods as supported by the respective payment processor
We do not store full credit card details (handled securely by payment processors).
10.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- The payment processor will retry automatically
- You will receive email notifications
- After final failure, your subscription may be suspended
- You may manually re-subscribe to restore access
11. Unused VAT Returns
11.1 No Rollover
- Unused VAT return credits do not roll over to the next month
- Example: If your plan includes 15 returns/month and you use only 10, the remaining 5 expire
11.2 No Refunds
- We do not issue refunds or credits for unused VAT return allocations
- Consider downgrading to a lower tier if you consistently have unused credits
12. Digital Service Delivery
GSTFlow is a digital service delivered entirely online. See our Service Delivery Policy for details on how services are activated and delivered.
13. Policy Changes
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via:
- Email notification (30 days in advance for material changes)
- Updated "Last Updated" date at the top
- In-app notification
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
